As the largest collection of pieces submitted for the grant, the display at the Sears building will be a true celebration of artistic expression that supports our attempts to understand and engage art for equity and social justice. The pieces showcased here are presented in a wide range of styles, mediums, and they address a variety of themes, reflecting the breadth and depth with which people are using creativity to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. From first-time painters to established poets, the Sears building will offer a picture of the ways people from around the world have been using creativity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
